Meeting Dominic Raab

On 25 October, a delegation of Northern Chambers of Commerce met with:
• Dominic Raab, Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union;
• Robin Walker, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Exiting the European Union; 
• Philip Rycroft Permanent Secretary at the Department for Exiting the European Union; 
• Susannah Storey Acting Director General at the Department for Exiting the European Union.

It was a very constructive meeting with a focus on the future and achieving clarity for business across UK and Europe. The urgency of achieving a deal remains and government commitment is welcome. The NBCC was represented by Lyne Biewinga - Director Premier Membership and Membership and Chairman of the NBCC Brexit Forum- and Leon Kanters, Tax partner and Brexit experts at KPMG Meijburg & Co, strategic partner of the NBCC Brexit Forum.
